22 January 2010: Misa Table, 1905

By the Misa Table [i.e., a group, possibly from Missouri State University, otherwise unidentified]. Umass Curtain Theater

A group effort to recreate a sense of the life available to settlers, not quite pioneers, in Nebraska. An earnest effort by actors with some ability, but much in need of a playwright to draw a drama out of these semi-promising materials. It ended up being a kind of cross between a documentary and a play. There were some interesting scenes, but also some longueurs.
